I was sitting in the 7th row behind home plate the rain line was at the 5th row…. In a very hot summer with no rain in weeks the sky open up in the 4th and rain into the next day….The game against the phillies was called and the next night the N.Y. Mets was the first opponent the Cubs face that counted … The game was shown LIVE throughout the U.S. on NBC-TV…..dt
